For those of you still in Ludington, there will be a final Cocktails at the Club on Friday November 4 starting about 5:30 p.m. The goal for this party is to reduce the beer and wine inventory going into the winter months. Beer will be $1.00 and wine will be reduced accordingly as well. Bring an appetizer to share if you wish. Since we now have our SDM License, any beer & wine left at the end of the evening can be purchased by members and taken home.
Last Thursday a group of volunteers completed the dock and grounds winter prep work. Ice eaters were installed, the dock water was turned off and winterized, the shed was cleaned up, picnic tables stacked, deck furniture stowed, & the perimeter ropes taken down. The following members were in attendance and made quick work of it; Alex Zaydel, Jeff Yeager, Mark Otto, Connelly Bowling, Al Buck, Jim McGee, Gary Ferguson, & Dave Golder.
This will most likely be the final “LYC Happenings” for 2022. After the first of the year, I will send along an announcement regarding the 2023 membership dues. As a reminder, dues for 2023 will be $225. If, at this time, your plans for 2023 will not include the LYC, I would appreciate hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
