Opportunity to Serve
The good news, Connie & Jim Gillette have sold their condo and will be off on new adventures September 30. The bad news, Connie is the LYC Treasurer and she has submitted her resignation. Connie has done an excellent job and we all wish her & Jim the best.
That said, LYC is now looking to our membership for the next Treasurer. This volunteer Flag Officer position takes only a few hours of time weekly to pay bills, make deposits, and maintain “the books”. Knowledge of Quickbooks would be helpful. There is a dedicated laptop computer that goes with the position. Connie & Jim wintered in Florida and she was able to do everything remotely during the time she was away from Ludington. Connie will be available until the end of the month to assist with the transition.
If you have an interest in helping the Club, please let me know either by response to this email or by giving me a call (231-499-1220). I also encourage you to call Connie (616-745-7840) to get her take on what being the LYC Treasurer entails.

Jeff, Gary, and Chris Patulski also completed an emergency repair to a burst water line on the west dock Wednesday.
NEW LIGHTS
New LED lights have been installed on the north and south ends of the clubhouse as well as a motion sensitive light fixture by the west door.

All of the grills on the south deck are now functional. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…take a few minutes to clean them after each use!
