This Week at LYC

Tuesday, May 17, is the first FERGBURGS in support of the Ludington Youth Sailing School (LYSS).  Serving from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  For a $10 donation, you will receive the best burger in town (grilled onions & cheese if you desire) along with a choice of 2 of the following sides: cole slaw, potato salad, cream corn, or beans.  Fergburgs will occur every other Tuesday throughout the 2022 season.  For those of you not in the know, LYSS is a 501c3 charitable organization that relies on donations and tuition to operate and is entirely separate from the Ludington Yacht Club.

Friday, May 20 is Cocktails at the Club beginning around 5:30 p.m. until ?  Bring an appetizer if you wish and see who shows up.

Tuesday May 24 is the alternate Tuesday in support of LYSS.  On the menu is Great Lakes Salmon bites, french fries and coleslaw for a donation of $10.  Serving from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  This also will occur every other Tuesday throughout the season.

Friday, May 27 is Cocktails at the Club once again beginning around 5:30 p.m. until ?.  Bring an appetizer if you wish and see who shows up.

Saturday June 4:

Mexican Dinner hosted by Mark & Patty Otto with assistance from Diane Nemitz, Kathy Grossenbacher, Tom & Sally Hendricks, and Ted Towl

.  Social gathering at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:00 p.m.Menu to include:  

Chicken or Steak Wet Burritos with sour cream and salsa, Rice, Refried Beans,Salad with French or Ranch Dressing, Brownies (spiced with chili and cinnamon-a traditional Mexican favorite), and Ice Cream – of course!   All for the inflation busting price of $10 per person cash or punch!

Margaritas will be the special drink of the evening.Please call or text Sandy Gomez at (231) 690-6224 to make a reservation. Reservations will close at the end of the day Wednesday June 1.Saturday June 11:  Swiss Steak Dinner hosted by Denny & Luci and Mom Lavis!  Social gathering at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:00 p.m.  Menu to include Swiss steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, candied carrots, fennel & chopped apple salad, rolls, dessert (surprise 95th birthday cake for Mom).  This will be a $15 per person event, cash or punch combination.  Again, please call or text Sandy Gomez at (231) 690-6224 to make a reservation.  Reservations will close at the end of the day Wednesday June 8.
