Hey LYC, it’s Global Beatles Day (the band, not the bug)!
Let’s help our bartender, Becky, get to know everyone. Please wear your nametag and/or present your LYC membership card to her when ordering drinks at the bar. Not only will it help her but will help us all get to know the members, new and established, of our club. Thanks to Jill Kaines for updating the name tag board!

Sailboat Racing NewsYesterday’s race to the weather buoy was cancelled due to inclement weather. Last week’s results are posted below:
To all;If you weren’t on the water with us Thursday, you missed a beautiful evening. Sailing conditions were near perfect, and everyone made it safely back to the club as the storm front approached. We had four boats take the start, and four finishers. Dave Golder had a particularly challenging finish as he had to jockey for position with the Badger coming through the pierhead at the same time. Thanks to all who came out and participated:
- Serendipity- Dave Golder (Singlehanded)
- Scrimshank- Les, Jill and Kim Kaines.
- Harmony- Jeff Laman, Bill Walker, Dave Dice
- Poppy T- Shelley & Tim Tibbits, Gary Ferguson, Steve Desloge, Deb Delzoppo
Would love to see more boats make the start this week. I will send a race announcement for this week late in the day Wednesday. Thanks Tim
