We had a very successful “Christmas in October” potluck and fundraiser for the Ludington High School Student Resource Center last Saturday. Over $3,100 in cash was donated in addition to the multitude of clothing, personal care, and food items that were also donated. Thanks to Luci Lavis & Kaye Holman for organizing what has become an annual event to aid the homeless and in need students of our community. And thanks to everyone in attendance who brought food to share!
Friday October 11 is Cocktails at the Club as usual beginning about 5:00 p.m. Bring an appetizer to share if you wish and see who shows up.
As we are winding down the 2019 season, we need to reduce our beer & wine inventory. All $2 beers will be $1 and the $3 beers will go for $2. All wine will be $2. Selection is limited so hurry down.
The annual membership meeting with election of flag officers for 2020 is Tuesday October 15 at 7:30 p.m. A potluck dinner precedes the meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Besides this Friday, there will be 2 more Cocktails at the Club left in October, Friday October 18 and Friday October 25.
Notice has been sent to dock holders that dock reservation deposits for 2020 are due October 31.
