“Cocktails at the Club” again Friday evening, May 3, beginning around 5:30 p.m. Please bring an appetizer to share if you wish and see who shows up! It’s a great way to meet other members of LYC! This activity will continue every Friday throughout the 2019 season unless announced otherwise.
Saturday May 4 – KENTUCKY DERBY PARTY: The party begins at 5:00 p.m. with pre-race social gathering. Dinner will follow at 6:00 p.m. Post time for the 145th running is 6:50 p.m. The social committee will be serving Kentucky Fried Chicken. They will serve the chicken and ask that everyone who attends to please bring a dish to share that goes well with chicken or a small dessert or appetizer. Wear your best Derby hat as a prize will be awarded for the best hat. Please call Sandy Gomez at 231-690-6224 to RSVP by Thursday May 2. Donations will be taken to cover cost of chicken.
