Tuesday September 22 is Taco Tuesday in support of LYSS. Serving from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a complimentary side dish to share if desired.
Friday September 25 is Cocktails at the Club as usual. Bring an appetizer or not and stop down and see who is there.
Saturday September 26 is the annual Chili Cook Off.
- Cook Off Contestants must furnish (1) one crockpot of chili with a serving utensil. No names may be visible on pot or utensil.
- Contestants must deliver chili to the LYC kitchen through the REAR DOOR ONLY by12 Noon. Front door entries will be disqualified.
- Chili will be left with a kitchen Chili Team member once you have confirmed category and your chili has been registered.
- Three categories of chili will be judged- Red Chili (optional beans, meat, vegetables, etc), White Chili (optional beans, meat, vegetables, etc), Veggie Chili (meatless).
- Judging will commence at 1PM, with 2oz tasting cups only, and tasting will terminate at3PM or until the first pot of chili has been consumed.

Looking ahead, another LYSS Tuesday event (Chili Dogs) will occur on the 29th (last one for the year).
October Fest dinner is Saturday October 3, details will follow.
The tree is up for the Christmas in October Toys for Tots, Gifts for Teens event Saturday October 10. Toys, gifts, or monetary donations are welcome and can be dropped off at the club anytime. Dinner for the evening will be Swiss Steak!!! Watch for the formal dinner announcement in early October.
The MSU/U of M tailgate party will occur on Saturday October 17. Again, details will follow.
