Coming Events at LYC

Tuesday October 16 – Annual Membership Meeting:  Election of Flag Officers for 2019; all 2018 Officers have agreed to serve in 2019.  However, nominations will also be accepted from the floor.  Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and there will be a potluck dinner preceding the meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m.  There will be a stockholder meeting following adjournment of the membership meeting to elect members to the Board of Directors.
 
Saturday October 20 – MSU vs. UM tailgate party:  Kickoff is at noon!  Let’s start the tailgate around 11:30 a.m. The bar will be open.  Bring snacks to see you through half time when sloppy joes, chips, veggies, and cake will be available. Please call or text Sandy Gomez by Thursday October 18 and let her know if you plan to attend; we wish to get an idea of numbers to plan food purchase.

Saturday October 13 – Christmas in October dinner.  Swiss steak, mashed potato and gravy provided.  Please bring a dish to share (appetizer, veggie, salad, dessert, etc) to round out the potluck.  There is no cost for the meal.  However, this our annual benefit for the Ludington High School Student Resource Center so we will be accepting monetary (checks to Ludington High School Student Resource Center) or clothing donations.  Mark Boon and students will be present to explain what the Center does and means for students in the community.  Please call or text Sandy Gomez and let her know if you plan to attend; we wish to get an idea of numbers to plan meat purchase.  Social starts at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Cocktails at the Club continue on Fridays beginning around 5:00 p.m.  Bring an appetizer to share if you wish.
