May Happenings at LYC

I send this missive to y’all from Austin Texas where today it is forecast to be a record 95F…time to get back to the COOLER State of Michigan and LYC.
The club is open and Kaye announces the start of “Cocktails at the Club” this Friday evening, April 12, beginning around 5:30 p.m.   Please bring an appetizer to share if you wish and see who shows up!  It’s a great way to meet other members of LYC!  This activity will continue every Friday throughout the 2019 season unless announced otherwise.

Mark your calendars for activities in May –  More information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks…stay tuned.

May 7    General membership meeting and potluck
May 10  Cocktails at the Club

May 14  FergBurgs – LYSS fundraiser

May 25  Burn your meat and potluck
May 28  Fergburgs – LYSS fundraiser
May 31  Cocktails at the Club
If May is any indication, this is going to be a great season at LYC.

Membership Meeting Tonight

The April general membership meeting will be held at the LYC clubhouse tomorrow, Tuesday April 2, 2019 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Please note there is no potluck preceding the April meeting.  Water to the clubhouse was turned on just today so there will be facilities and heat for the meeting but not much else this early in the season.  Potlucks will start with the May 7 meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Also please note that today, April 1, is when membership fees are due the club.  If you happen to be one of the several members who have yet to pay, you have until April 15 at which time membership will be suspended.  Please watch your email for a personal reminder in the next few days.  As always, if you do not plan to renew your membership, please let me know.
