LYC House Committee has just announced the following

Anyone fully vaccinated, no longer needs to wear a mask while indoors at the LYC Clubhouse
People who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks indoors while attending any function at the LYC Clubhouse except while seated for dining/drinking purposes.

LYC is following the new mask guidance issued:  Thursday May 13th by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and  May 14th.  By the State of Michigan
Additionally, seating at the bar will resume.  No mask requirement for persons fully vaccinated however, non-vaccinated persons are asked to continue to wear masks while seated at the bar.

Cocktails at the Club on Friday May 21 starting around 5:30 p.m.

Saturday May 22:  Mexican Dinner hosted by Mark & Patty Otto.  Social to start at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:00 p.m.   This will be a $10 per person event, cash or card punch.  Once again, Sandy Gomez will be taking reservations for dinners.  Please call or text her at (231) 690-6224 to make a reservation; only 45 reservations for indoor seating can be taken.  If you wish to specify outdoor seating, with the caveat that in case of unfavorable weather, you would need to have your dinner delivered “to go”, she can accept additional reservations.  Reservations for the Mexican dinner close Wednesday May 19.  The menu includes: 

  • Taco Salad,
  • Chicken or Steak Wet Burrito with sour cream & salsa,
  • Yellow rice and refried beans,
  • Pineapple coconut upside down cake
  • Bar drink special – Strawberry Margaritas

Tuesday May 25:  Fergburgs from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Looking ahead to other activites happening at LYC (additional info and activities will be announced)

June:

1  Alternate Tuesday for LYSS featuring Potato Pigs (baked potato with shredded pork and lots of good stuff on

    top).  Serving from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Great meal for a $10 donation to LYSS!

5 TAM Training:  Are you interested in becoming TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) certified? Registration is

    required by emailing Mark Hill at amphihill@gmail.com. Class duration is approximately 2 hours, and the cost is $15.

   The in-person course is scheduled for June 5, 9:00 a.m.  Once TAM certified, you can “open” the bar and legally serve

   and purchase alcohol.

Summer Gala

Mark your calendars.  LYC is having a “Summer Gala” for you.  It will be held off site in the ballroom at the Stearns Hotel in Ludington on Saturday August 14, 2021.  It will feature a catered dinner, dancing and a DJ.  A cash bar will be available throughout the night.  Tickets are $35.00 per person, checks made payable to LYC.  To purchase tickets please contact Jim McGee (810-441-5833) or Scott Hultman (616-644-5073).  Tickets will also be available at the bar.  Members and guests are welcome.

Docks are fully functional at this time with all electricity, water, and pump out in working order.
