Start studying your horses for the first dinner event of the season Saturday May 7, 2022 as it’s Kentucky Derby time. There will be Derby trivia, a Name your Horse game, Hat contest for the ladies, & rumor has it there may even be a Horse Betting Board.
Cocktails will post at 5:00 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. The menu will include Fried chicken, Cheesy potatoes, Baked beans, Cole slaw, & Kentucky cheesecake. Becky will be whipping up Mint Juleps at the bar. Dinner is $15 per person, cash or punch combination.
The Race posts at 6:57 p.m.

BUT, before that, the first Cocktails at the Club will be Friday May 6 starting around 5:30 p.m. Bring along an appetizer to share if you wish and see who shows up.
EVEN EARLIER…the May Membership meeting is Tuesday May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Looking ahead…Fergburgs to support LYSS will begin Tuesday May 17 with grilling from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Similar to last year, a burger with choice of 2 of 4 sides for a $10 donation. Alternate Tuesdays (the first May 24) will feature deep fried local salmon, fries, and slaw for the same donation.
