Saturday July 8:Reservations are now being taken for the Rib Dinner hosted by Adam & Christine Lamb and crew.  On the menu are Adam’s famous pork baby back ribs and his nearly as famous butter herbed potatoes and hand made coleslaw. This will be a $15 per person dinner.  Social gathering starts at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:00 p.m.  

Please call or text Sandy to make a reservation.  If you are making reservations for other members as well as yourself, please let her know this.  Reservations close Wednesday July 5.

Other week events:Tuesday July 4 – no formal event is planned but the grounds are a great place to watch the fireworks.

Gregg & Linda became LYC members in May of 2013.   Our deepest condolences go out to Linda and family especially Gregg’s brother and sister-in-law, Skip & Mary Lehnhard, recent LYC members themselves. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Linda at 329 Lake Indian Hills, Carbondale, IL  62902 and to Skip and Mary at 1161 N. Tomorrow is FERGBURG TUESDAY!  $10 per person will get you the best burger in town and a couple of sides.  Grilling from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. unless we run out of burgers first!

Thursday June 29 Thursday Night Sailboat Racing- As in years past, Offshore racing will take place on Thursday evenings with a start time of 5:30 p.m. If you have any questions please reach out to one of the Race Committee members: Tim Tibbits, Jeff Laman, Andy Klevorn, Ken Wierenga, or Bill Dehommel.  There is usually space available to “catch a ride”.  If interested, just show up around 4:30 or so and make your presence known.

Friday June 30 – “Cocktails at the Club”, same routine…starts about 5:30 p.m.  Bring an appetizer if you wish and see who is there.
