Following postponement of the Bloomer Cup Sailboat Race yesterday, the dinner went on as planned and we had a great turnout. Thanks to Dawn Leedham and crew for staging a great event. Dawn adds the following: “I want to give a shout out to many people who helped support the successful Bloomer Cup dinner. Our supportive grill masters Marty Schmidt, Alex Zaydel, and Cody Leedham were either helping make the delicious steaks or tending the grills and cooking. To Jill Kaines for making her delicious veggie trays and delectable fruit bowl. To Cody Leedham for making his now famous mac & cheese. To Barb Schmidt and Denny Lavis for their delicious salads. To Gail Kretchman and Becky for their continued support and guidance in the process and impeccable timing of dinners. To Steve Miller for taking money, and to Dana Nye and Alex Haase graciously assisted with cleanup. Thanks so much to all of you. I feel we all contributed to make this night a big success.”
