Sixty seven members and guests were treated to a great Corned Beef dinner last Friday evening. Thanks to Steve Miller for organizing and overseeing a remarkable crew composed of Dave & Cindy Windsor, Lynn & Nancy Pontz, Tom & Marge Carlson, Becky Erickson, and corn beef brisket slicer extraordinaire, Me! So ends the 2024 LYC dinner event season.
There is however one last item on the event calendar before the club closes for the season. Tuesday, October 15 @ 7:30 p.m is the Annual Membership Meeting. Following this meeting will be the Annual Board of Directors meeting as well as the Annual Meeting of LYC Shareholders. All members are welcome to attend all meetings.
I want to remind all dock holders that your 2025 reservation deposit of $250 is due by October 31, 2024. You should have received an email stating such a couple weeks ago. If you didn’t, please let me know.
It has been a great 2024 season at LYC and hope you all look forward to 2025. At this point, I will no longer clog your email inbox on a weekly (and sometimes bi-weekly) basis. I will however be in touch after the first of the year to ask for your continued support of the LYC in the form of 2025 dues…watch for an email and postcard in your snail mail. That’s assuming I am re-elected as Secretary of this outfit once again on Tuesday
