Commodore Gail Kretchman has appointed the following LYC members to the nominating committee: Gary Ferguson, Chris Knudsen, and Luci Lavis. The purpose of the committee is to solicit LYC members to seek election to Flag Officer positions for 2015 and post a suite of candidates to be voted upon at the October 14 annual meeting. At that meeting, nominations will also be accepted from the floor. However, it is the desire of the committee to know of all interested members that wish to seek office before the meeting so that they can be fully vetted and be included with the recommended slate. Tuesday September 23 is the last Fergburg night for the season. Burgers will be served from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for $5 each. If you wish, please bring a dish to share that compliments a Fergburg!
Saturday September 27 the social committee will serve pulled pork barbeque sandwiches for $3 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to pass. Following at around 7:00 will be the final Karaoke session for the season. Come and join in the fun!
